Tantus Beginner Ball Gag

During February and now March my presence on here has been a bit lacking due to some other life stuff going on. We are looking at nursing homes for my mother in law. I have gone off hormonal birth control. My depression and anxiety have been overwhelming. Among many other things that fall under the “life happens” category. Good news is I have still been reviewing items and working on these reviews! Now it’s time to get them posted. My goal for each month is to get 4 blog posts out so I can still meet my goal for March!

As mentioned earlier this month Tantus sent me a Ripple and a Beginner Ball Gag to review. I posted the Ripple already so now here are my thoughts on the Beginner Ball Gag! As all Tantus products, the ball gag comes in simple branded packaging clearly displaying the toy. It opened easily which was a pleasant surprise. Mine is red with black removable and adjustable leather straps but it also comes in light pink and black. The gag itself is made of premium silicone and is quite firm but is flexible enough to bite down on. This gag sits comfortably in my mouth without feeling like my jaw is being stretched.

This gag is shaped like a baby’s pacifier and the ball sits behind your teeth. This allows the user to become comfortable with their mouth being held open and find their comfort level for their jaw before moving to a bigger gag. This is important for beginners to explore and work on in order to avoid jaw fatigue and any muscle pains that can go with it.

This particular ball gag fell short with the straps. Adjusting them to fit my small head was a struggle, they just didn’t stay in place. With them being adjustable it is easy enough to pop them off and use something in its place – a ribbon or what ever else you can think of! These removable straps are also great for properly cleaning your gag. Being made of silicone allows a quick wash with soap and water is all the clean-up required. Like other Tantus products it is also dishwasher safe, boilable, and bleachable. The last key feature about the straps is that it is also very easy to remove if things go wrong. The velcro closure allows the user or a partner to quickly undo and remove the gag.

Whether you are using a ball gag as a submissive act or for your own kinky reasons and are just starting out I suggest you give this gag a try. For around $44 bucks you get a quality item that will last! A quick tip if trying a gag out for the first time – start with wearing the gag only for short periods of time and work up to longer scenes.  I like to take the time to be mindful of what is occurring and controlling my breath rather than getting stuck in my head. It makes me pay more attention to each touch I am experiencing or the absence of touch as it happens.

If you want to get your hands on a Tantus Beginner Ball Gag or any of their great products check them out online here! Thanks again Tantus – you’re products are great quality at affordable prices! I can’t get my hands on enough of them!
